How to prepare:
Preheat the oven to 200°C/395°F (fan oven 180°C/360°F).
Soak the crustless bread in milk. Mix 1 egg with the ground beef, the very small chopped onion, squeezed garlic clove, bread and (chopped) herbs in a bowl and divide
in 10 portions.
Place the stuffing next to the middle of the dough
. Fold the dough over the
stuffing and press the edges flat onto each other. Coat with the beaten 2nd egg or some milk. Cut the upper part of the sausage rolls slightly with a knife
.
Place the rolls on a greased baking sheet and bake 10 minutes, reduce the temperature to 180°C/360°F (170°C/340°F) and bake 18-23 more minutes until golden brown
.
Luxurious stuffing: Chop the shrimps and ham. Soak crustless bread in the milk.
Mix shrimps, ham, spices and mashed bread. Follow the rest
of the recipe from the dividing of the stuffing.
