Crispy samosa

Ingredients:

8 slices puff pastry

 

Stuffing:

200 gr hover for conversion mixed ground beef

1 medium carrot

100 gr hover for conversion frozen peas

2 garlic cloves

2 teaspoons curry powder

2 tablespoons tamarind sauce

 

extra:

oil for to deep-fry

Cut the slices puff pastry diagonal.
Mix for the stuffing ground beef, grated carrot, thawed peas, pressed garlic, curry powder and tamarind sauce in a bowl.
Divide the stuffing over all the triangles but let a margin of 1 cm free. Brush the edges of the dough with water. Fold the pastry dough over the filling to a smaller triangle and push the edges well.
Heat the oil in a (deep-fry) pan. Put a couple samosa's in the moderately hot oil and fry approximately 4 minutes (turn halfway) till they are golden brown and crispy.
Drain on kitchen paper and keep hot (oven).
Fry the remaining samosa's and serve with chutney.
