2 green bell peppers
3 medium onions
2-4 teaspoons salt
some cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon pumpkin spices
1 tablespoon mustard seed
1 cinnamon stick

How to prepare:
Wash and stone the fruits and vegetables, optional peel and cut in pieces.
Mix the fruit and vegetables in a wide pan with the sugar, vinegar, salt, cayenne pepper, pumpkin spices and a cotton cloth with mustard seed and cinnamon.
Bring to a boil, simmer and reduce till the mixture gets thicker, stir every now and then.
Remove the cotton with herbs, pour the mixture hot into sterilised jars, close and label.
This is a sour/sharp fruit/vegetables-mixture, delicious with meat fondue, barbecue, (Frankfurter) sausages, ham and lamb meat.
