Pita bread
210 ml
lukewarm water
1 teaspoon dry yeast
(1 teaspoon sugar)
350 gr flour

1.5 teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon oil

How to prepare:
Mix lukewarm water, yeast and optional some sugar and let the mixture rest for 10 minutes.
Sift the flour with the salt and add the yeast mixture and the oil.
Knead the dough on a flour dusted working surface until it doesn't stick. Make 10-14 balls of the dough and place 10 minutes under greased foil to rise.
Roll the balls very flat and put on a greased baking sheet. Dust with little flour.
Preheat the oven to 225°C/440°F (fan oven 200°C/395°F).
Bake the pita buns 6-8 minutes until the bread swells and is golden brown (remove one by one from the oven when swollen). Bake optional a 2nd serie bread.
