Sweet-sour pineapple sauce

Ingredients:

2.5 dl hover for conversion pineapple juice

3 tablespoons wine vinegar

2 teasp sweet soy sauce

2 tablespoons brown sugar

2 tablespoons sifted tomatoes

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1 tablespoon water

 

 

Preparation:

Mix juice, vinegar, soy sauce, sugar and sifted tomatoes in a saucepan.
Heat stirring over low heat until the sugar is dissolved.
Mix cornstarch with 1 tablespoon water.
Add while stirring to the mixture, bring to a boil and cook till the mixture thickens.
 
Lower the heat and let the mixture simmer for 2 minutes.
