Sweet-sour sauce

Go to all recipes for: Sauces and herb butter, Gourmet, Oriental, Ground beef, Chicken 

Ingredients:

60 ml hover for conversion orange juice

60 ml hover for conversion pineapple juice

60 ml hover for conversion white vinegar

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 tablespoon chili sauce

 

2 teaspoons cornstarch

1 tablespoon water

 

Preparation:

Mix juices, vinegar, sugar and chili sauce in a sauce pan.
Keep stirring over medium heat, till the sugar is dissolved.
Mix cornstarch and water in a bowl and add, while stirring, to the mixture in the pan.
Let the mixture. while stirring, bind over medium heat.
Lower the heat and simmer for 2 minutes.
Put the sauce in a bowl to cool.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
