Chinese sweet-sour sauceIngredients:5 tablespoons pancake syrup4 tablespoons vinegar1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce1 dl water1 small can pineapple2 tablespoons cornstarch2 tablespoons water5 balls stem ginger

How to prepare:Melt the syrup over low heat and add vinegar, sweet soy sauce, water and the pineapple juice from the can.Mix 2 tablespoons water with the cornstarch and add, while stirring, to the sauce.Bring the sauce to a boil.Add the chopped ginger and 2 slices chopped pineapple, simmer about 2 minutes.
Delicious at all kinds of Oriental meals.
