Aspargus twists

Ingredients:

2 slices puff pastry

1 beaten egg

16 cooked asparagus

How to prepare:

Preheat the oven to 200C/395F (fan oven 180C/360F).

Brush the thawed slices puff pastry with beaten egg. Cut each slice dough in 8 strips and pull till a little longer.

Place one end at the back end of an asparagus and wrap the dough around the asparagus to the top. Brush the end of the dough with egg and push carefull but firm around the asparagus.

Place the twists on a greased baking sheet.

Bake golden brown in 10 minutes.
