Plum strudel

Ingredients:

300 gr hover for conversion flour

pinch salt

1 egg

1/2 cup lukewarm water

30 gr hover for conversion butter

a little oil

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

125 ml hover for conversion whipping cream

1.5 kg hover for conversion plums

75 gr hover for conversion sugar

100 gr hover for conversion sliced almonds

40 gr hover for conversion butter or margarine

icing sugar

extra: baking oven

Preparation:

Make the dough according the basic recipe, brush some oil over and place it under a warm bowl. Let rest 30 minutes.

Prepare:

Preheat the oven to 200°C/395°F (fan oven 180°C/360°F).
Flour a cloth with flour and roll the dough with a rolling pin till almost translucent.
Divide the breadcrumbs over the dough and divide the cream.
Wash and half the plums and remove the pip. Mix with sugar and almonds. Divide the fruits over 2/3 parts of the dough. Fold the dough on the long sides a bit to the middle and roll, using the cloth, from the short side. Brush melted butter over the strudel and place it on a greased baking pan. Bake the strudel in 50-60 minutes pale brown. Sprinkle immediate with icing sugar and serve hot.
