Apple pie 1

Ingredients:

175 gr hover for conversion flour

100 gr hover for conversion butter

3 tablespoons milk

700 gr hover for conversion firm sweet apples

100 gr hover for conversion currants and raisins

2 tablespoons honey

pinches nutmeg, ginger powder and cinnamon

2 tablespoons fresh breadcrumbs

Sift the flour in a bowl. Rub the butter in the flour till it resembles breadcrumbs.
Knead with the milk to a dough. Roll the dough thinly to a long rectangular sheet of about 20 cm wide and put it on a greased baking sheet.
Preheat the oven to 180°C/360°F (fan oven 160°C/310°F).
Peel and slice the apples, mix with the currants, raisins, honey, bread crumbs and the spices. Divide the mixture over the middle of the rectangle. Let 5 cm of the edges free.
Fold these free edges over the stuffing so a small strip apples remains visible in the middle.
Bake the pie in 40 minutes golden brown and let cool before cutting it in pieces.
