Pangsit Pedis (pedis = hot)
10 homemade egg roll skins
(or from freezer)
3-5 tablespoons sambal
pepper and salt
1 teaspoon ve-tsin
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
oil for frying

Preparation in advance:
Quarter each egg roll skin and cut each square diagonally, so you get 80 triangles.
Keep till use under a moist cloth.
Mix the ground beef with the remaining ingredients.
How to prepare:
Make 80 small balls. Place on each triangle a ball and brush the edges of the dough with beaten egg.
Fold the 2 points towards each other to make a triangle and push the edges.
Fry the pangsits in hot oil until they are brown and drain well.
They can be eaten without sauce.
