Ingredients:3 large grapefruits (or 2 cans)1-2 tablespoons dark brown sugar1-2 tablespoons ground coconut12 ginger balls6 tablespoons ginger syrupsome extra ground coconut |
Preparation:© Janneke's Recipe pages - recipe fruit, starters, Christmas dinnerHalf the grapefruits and remove the segments. Keep the peel.Put the segments in a bowl and mix carefull with brown sugar, ground coconut, chopped ginger balls and the ginger syrup (fresh or syrup from the jar ginger balls).Let rest for 3-4 hours in the fridge and spoon just before serving in the empty grapefruit peels.Roast the extra coconut in a pan and garnish the grapefruit cocktail. |
