Cheese schnitzel

Ingredients:

150 gr hover for conversion flour

1 egg 

water

1 substantial tablespoon parsley

1 teaspoon garlic powder

pinch salt

 

4 slices cheese (10x15x1 cm)

 

breadcrumbs

 

Preparation:

Mix flour, egg, some water, parsley, garlic powder and salt to an yogurt thick batter.
Coat the cheese slices with the batter and the breadcrumbs.
Let dry for 10 minutes and coat again with batter and breadcrumbs.
Heat widely butter or margarine and fry the cheese with a cover on the pan over low heat about 5 minutes.
Turn carefull and fry another 3 minutes.
 
Delicious with grilled shiitakes or oyster mushrooms.
As mini-schnitzels also great with gourmet.
Variation: use herb or nail cheese.
