Cheese schnitzels


Ingredients:

3 slices (herb)cheese of 10 x 12 cm and 1 cm thick

 

breadcrumbs

(paprika powder)

± 100 gr flour convert conversion

water

1 egg

1 substantial tablespoon parsley

1 teaspoon garlic powder

salt

Preparation in advance:

Cut each slice cheese in 8 pieces: once lenghtwise and each of these strips in 4 (= 5 x 3 cm).

Mix flour, water, egg, parsley, garlic powder and salt to an yogurt thick batter.

Coat the cheese with batter and breadcrumbs photo recipe (mixed with optional some paprika powder and parsley), let uncovered dry for at least 10 minutes. After drying coat once again with batter and breadcrumbs photo recipe.

How to prepare:

Heat butter or margarine in a raclette pan and fry the cheese schnitzels about 4 minutes on each side, add some oyster mushrooms, shiitake or banana.
