Tahin butterflies

Ingredients:

100 gr hover for conversion tahin

1 red chili pepper

1/2 teaspoon paprika powder

3 slices puff pastry

 

 

* Tahin (sesame paste) is

sold in Turkish food shops

Put tahin, the chopped seedless pepper and paprika powder in a bowl. Add some salt and mix well. Spread the slices puff pastry. Fold the sides of the puff pastry in, so the edges touch in the middle and fold once again towards the middle.
Place the dough 30 minutes in the fridge.
Preheat the oven to 200°C/395°F (fan oven 180°C/360°F).
Cover two baking sheets with baking paper. Cut the dough in slices of 1 cm and place on the sheets with the cutting edge up and little apart. Bake the butterflies 10-12 minutes on 1 side, turn and bake the other side in 5-6 minutes golden brown and crispy.
