Tomato sauceIngredients:1 tablespoon butter1 shallot1 garlic clove1 can peeled tomatoes1/2 cube garden herbs broth1 teaspoon oregano1 tablespoon parsley1 teaspoon sweet soy sauce(garlic powder, salt)(cornstarch) |

How to prepare:This is a delicious sauce for pizza but also great with meat.Melt the butter in a pan and add the chopped shallot and chopped garlic.Simmer some minutes.Drain the canned tomatoes and keep the fluid. Add the tomato fluid to the onion/garlic mixture and bring to a boil. Add garden herbs broth cube, oregano, parsley and sweet soy sauce and simmer about 5 minutes.Crush the canned tomatoes a little and add to the sauce. Simmer for 10 more minutes.Optional flavour with a garlic powder and salt .Depending on the thickness of the sauce add some water dissolved cornstarch to get a thicker sauce . Let cool before using.(The sauce can be frozen before adding cornstarch)
