Tomato sauce

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon butter

1 shallot

1 garlic clove

1 can peeled tomatoes

1/2 cube garden herbs broth

1 teaspoon oregano

1 tablespoon parsley

1 teaspoon sweet soy sauce

(garlic powder, salt)

(cornstarch)

This is a delicious sauce for pizza but also great with meat.
Melt the butter in a pan and add the chopped shallot and chopped garlic.
Simmer some minutes.
Drain the canned tomatoes and keep the fluid. Add the tomato fluid to the onion/garlic mixture and bring to a boil. Add garden herbs broth cube, oregano, parsley and sweet soy sauce and simmer about 5 minutes.
Crush the canned tomatoes a little and add to the sauce. Simmer for 10 more minutes.
Optional flavour with a garlic powder and salt .
Depending on the thickness of the sauce add some water dissolved cornstarch to get a thicker sauce . Let cool before using.
(The sauce can be frozen before adding cornstarch)
