Pear cake

Ingredients:

150 gr hover for conversion butter or margarine

150 gr hover for conversion sugar

grated peel of 1 lemon

2 eggs

250 gr hover for conversion flour

125 gr hover for conversion cornstarch

3 teaspoons baking powder

125 ml hover for conversion milk

1 kg hover for conversion pears

pinch cinnamon

50 gr hover for conversion sugar

75 gr hover for conversion chopped almonds

40 gr hover for conversion butter or margarine

Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 175°C/350°F (fan oven 160°C/310°F).
Beat butter, sugar, lemon grater and eggs to a creamy mass.
Mix flour with cornstarch and baking powder and stir with the milk and the butter mass. Beat till you get a smooth dough.
Grease a baking pan or baking oven plate and fill with the batter.
Peel the pears, remove stalks and cores and cut in large pieces.
Divide the pieces over the batter and sprinkle sugar, cinnamon and chopped almonds over.
Bake the cake 30-40 minutes.
If the cake is ready, cover with melted butter.
