Arak cookiesIngredients:125 gr butter or margarine75 gr brown cooled butter3 egg yolksgrated peel of 1 lemon180 gr sugar375 gr flourpitted drained cherries or marasquin cherries250 gr icing sugar2 tablespoons arakextra:baking oven

Preparation in advance:Beat the butter creamy with the browned butter.Add yolks, lemon grater and sugar, stir well and add the flour.Make small balls of the dough, put on a greased baking sheet and place the sheet 1 to 2 hours at a cold place.How to prepare:Preheat the oven to 200°C/395°F (fan oven 180°C/360°F).Push in every ball a cherry and place the plate in the middle of the baking oven. Bake the cookies 10-15 minutes.Stir the icing sugar smooth with 1 tablespoon hot water and the arak and divide over the cooled cookies.
