Stewed beefIngredients:750 gr stew beefsaltground pepper75 gr butter1 large onion2 cloves1 laurel leaf1 garlic clove1 tablespoon vinegar(1 tomato)

How to prepare:Rub the beef with salt and pepper.Brown the butter in a frying pan and brown the beef on both sides.Half the onion and prick a clove in each half. Fry the onion together with the meat.Add bit by bit 2 dl hot water (beef mixture must keep boiling), laurel leaf, vinegar and the garlic clove . (Optional add a peeled tomato)Put a cover on the pan and let the beef simmer over low heat for 2-3 hours.Remove the laurel leaf.
