Hamburger on bun


Ingredients:

500 gr convert conversion (lean) ground beef

1 onion

2 teaspoons worcestersauce

2 tablespoons tomato ketchup

4 tablespoons breadcrumbs

4 slices cheese

 

4 buns / sandwich rolls

4 lettuce leaves

1 tomato

ketchup or curry sauce

(pineapple)

How to prepare:

Mix ground beef, chopped onion, worcester sauce, tomato ketchup and breadcrumbs. Divide in 4 equal portions and make hamburgers of the beef.

Fry the hamburgers approximately 7 minutes on each side till brown.

Put the last 2 minutes a slice cheese on the burgers to melt.

Half the buns and roast under the broiler. Garnish with a sheet lettuce and some slices tomato. Place the hamburgers on top of the tomatoes and add at flavour ketchup.

Also delicious: instead of the tomato a slice of pineapple.

Serve optionally with Dutch "special" sauce (Dutch hamburger speciaal).
