Baking the perfect steak
4 beef tenderloin steaks
1 tablespoon oil
fresh ground pepper

How to prepare:
Brown the butter in a frying pan.
Frying directions for a beefsteak of 2 à 2.5 cm thick:
Coat the steak with some oil, salt and freshly ground pepper and fry each steak on both sides 1.5 minute over high heat . Don't prick the meat while baking !
Saignant (Fr.), red or rare: fry both sides 1.5 minute extra.
Medium: both sides 3 minutes extra.
à Point or almost well done: both sides 4 minutes extra.
Place the steaks after baking, wrapped in aluminium foil, about 5 minutes in a preheated baking oven of 100°C/210°F to let the juices redistribute.
