How to prepare:Brown the butter in a frying pan.Frying directions for a beefsteak of 2 à 2.5 cm thick:Coat the steak with some oil, salt and freshly ground pepper and fry each steak on both sides 1.5 minute over high heat . Don't prick the meat while baking !Saignant (Fr.), red or rare: fry both sides 1.5 minute extra.Medium: both sides 3 minutes extra.à Point or almost well done: both sides 4 minutes extra.Place the steaks after baking, wrapped in aluminium foil, about 5 minutes in a preheated baking oven of 100°C/210°F to let the juices redistribute.
