Baking the perfect steak


4 beef tenderloin steaks


1 tablespoon oil

fresh ground pepper

100 gr butter convert conversion

How to prepare:

Brown the butter in a frying pan.

Frying directions for a beefsteak of 2 2.5 cm thick:

Coat the steak with some oil, salt and freshly ground pepper photo recipe and fry each steak on both sides 1.5 minute over high heat photo recipe. Don't prick the meat while baking !

Saignant (Fr.), red or rare: fry both sides 1.5 minute extra.

Medium: both sides 3 minutes extra.

Point or almost well done: both sides 4 minutes extra.

Place the steaks after baking, wrapped in aluminium foil, about 5 minutes in a preheated baking oven of 100C/210F to let the juices redistribute.
