Elder flowers syrup


Ingredients:

20 elder flower clusters

1 liter water convert conversion

juice of 1/2 lemon

750 gr convert conversionjelly sugar

 

extra:

2 liter convert conversionjar

How to prepare:

Shake the flowers well outside, wash carefully and drain.

Bring the water with lemon juice and jelly sugar to a boil and cook 2 minutes.

Pour the syrup in a well cleaned jar of 2 liter.

Put the elder umbels in the syrup, close the bottle and let rest about 4 weeks.

Sift the syrup, pour it in sterilised bottles and close.
