Bishop wine (Dutch Bisshopswijn)


Ingredients:

1 lemon

25 cloves

1 tablespoon cinnamon

1 liter convert conversionred wine

1 liter red berry wine

sugar

How to prepare:

Wash the lemon well and prick it with all the cloves.

Put the lemon, cinnamon, the red wine and berry wine in a pan.

Heat the wine up to 60 à 70°C (150°F), definitely don't let boil.

Keep the drink 1 hour on this temparature and remove lemon.

 

Serve the Bishops wine as hot as possible in large wine glasses and add at flavour sugar.
