Texmex cheese cookies

Ingredients:

225 gr hover for conversion flour

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon garlic salt

0.5 teaspoon paprika powder

200 gr hover for conversion butter

1 egg

200 gr hover for conversion cheddar

Sift flour, chili powder, garlic salt and paprika powder in a bowl.
Mix with the fingertips bits butter into the flour till the mixture looks like breadcrumb. Add beaten egg and grated cheese and knead rapidly to a dough. Knead the dough on a flour dusted working surface to a ball. Wrap in foil and place 20 minutes in the fridge.
Preheat the oven to 210°C/400°F (fan oven 190°C/375°F).
Grease 2 baking sheets slightly with melted butter.
Roll the dough on a flour dusted working surface to a sheet of 3 mm thick. Cut stars or circles of 6 cm. Place the cheese cookies with a spatula on the baking sheets.
Bake the cheese cookies  in 12 minutes golden brown.
Let cool 2 minutes on the baking sheet.
