Construction workers tomato soupfor 4 construction workers or 8 personsIngredients:500 gr ground beef1 slice white bread2 tablespoons milk1 eggbreadcrumbs2 liter water2 packages sifted tomatoes (1 liter )2 can tomato paste (280 gr )8 herbs bouillon cubes (for 4 liter soup)2 onions1 large leek4 large tablespoons cornstarch2 cans peeled tomatoes (1 liter )

How to prepare:Mash the crustless bread with milk and beaten egg. Add the ground beef and as many breadcrumbs to get a firm mass. Roll small meat balls.Fill a pan with 2 liter water and bring to a boil. Add sifted tomatoes, tomato paste, bouillon cubes, thinly sliced onion and sliced leek. Bring to a boil.Mix the cornstarch with half a cup of water. Add, while stirring, to the soup. Let the soup simmer for 10 minutes.Add the (slightly mashed) peeled tomatoes with the juice. Bring to boil.Add the meat balls. As soon as they start floating the soup is ready.Serve with French bread and garlic butter.
