Pinetree cookies

125 gr butter

4 eggs
500 gr
brown sugar
pinch salt
4 teaspoons cookie spices
600 gr flour

3 teaspoons baking powder
flour for dusting
5 tablespoons light beer
150 gr
pearl sugar

Preparation in advance:
Stir the butter soft in a bowl and add the eggs one by one.
Add sugar, salt and spices, mix well and sift flour and baking powder over.
Knead to a firm dough, wrap and let rest at least 1 hour in the fridge.
How to prepare:
Preheat the oven to 200°C/395°F (fan oven 180°C/360°F).
Flour a work area, roll out the dough until 1/2 cm thick and cut round cookies (about 10-12 cm/4-5 inch).
Coat with beer, sprinkle the pearl sugar over.
Place on a greased sheet and bake crispy in 20 minutes.
Take the cookies, immediately after baking, from the sheet and let cool on a wire rack.
When kept airtight (in a drum) these cookies can be preserved very long.
