Magdalena cookies


Ingredients:

250 gr flour convert conversion

150 gr convert conversionbutter or margarine

100 gr convert conversionsugar

80 gr convert conversionground almonds

(warm) marmalade

icing sugar

Preparation in advance:

Knead of flour, butter, sugar and almonds a smooth dough. Place 1 hour in the fridge.

How to prepare:

Roll the dough, on a flour dusted work area, to 1/2 cm thick and cut circles with a glass. Remove from half of the cookies the centre with an apple corer to make rings.

Preheat the oven to 200C/395F (fan oven 180C/360F).

Place the cookies on a greased baking sheet and bake 10-15 minutes in the middle of the oven. Let cool on a wire rack.

Cover the complete cookies with marmalade.

Place the ring-shaped cookies on top and sprinkle with icing sugar.
