Magdalena cookiesIngredients:250 gr flour150 gr butter or margarine100 gr sugar80 gr ground almonds

Preparation in advance:Knead of flour, butter, sugar and almonds a smooth dough. Place 1 hour in the fridge.How to prepare:Roll the dough, on a flour dusted work area, to 1/2 cm thick and cut circles with a glass. Remove from half of the cookies the centre with an apple corer to make rings.Preheat the oven to 200°C/395°F (fan oven 180°C/360°F).Place the cookies on a greased baking sheet and bake 10-15 minutes in the middle of the oven. Let cool on a wire rack.Cover the complete cookies with marmalade.Place the ring-shaped cookies on top and sprinkle with icing sugar.
