Honey cookies

Ingredients:

500 gr hover for conversion flour

375 gr hover for conversion honey

80 gr hover for conversion sugar

50 gr hover for conversion butter or margarine

80 gr hover for conversion ground nuts 

(for example hazelnuts)

1.5 tablespoon cookie spices

pinch salt

pinch anise powder

50 gr hover for conversion raisins

1/2 cup strong cold coffee

Preparation:

Heat the honey to make a little liquid.
Add and mix the remaining ingredients. Knead to smooth dough.
Place it wrapped up a night in the fridge.

Prepare:

Preheat the oven to 200°C/395°F (fan oven 180°C/360°F).
Roll the dough on a flour dusted working area to 1/2 cm thick and cut with baking cutters all kind of shapes (for example harts and stars).
Place the cookies on a greased baking sheet and coat with a little honey.
Bake the honey cookies 20-25 minutes in the middle of the oven.
