Fried frankfurters(16 pcs)Ingredients:8 large Frankfurters8 long wooden skewerscornstarch
Batter::225 gr self raising flour35 gr corn flour1 egg1 tablespoon oil

How to prepare:Half the sausages. Cut the skewers in two and thread each sausage lenghtwise, the skewer must remain visible.Dust the sausages with little cornstarch.Sift the self raising flour for the batter in a large bowl, mix with the corn flour and make a little hole in the middle. Add bit by bit the beaten egg, oil and 3,5-4 dl water and stir to a batter.Fill a (deep fryer) pan up to a third with oil. Heat the oil to 180°C/360°F.Dip the sausages in the batter and drain a little. Put the sausages in the oil.Fry crisp in 2-3 minutes. Skim from the oil, drain on kitchen paper and serve hot.
