Stewed meat with spice cakeIngredients:500-750 gr beef loin1-2 tablespoons tasty mustardsalt and pepper2 tablespoons butter or margarine3 large onions4 garlic cloves1/2 litre dark beer1 tablespoon oregano1 tablespoon parsley4 thick slices breakfast muffin

How to prepare:Rub the beef loin with mustard and season with pepper and salt.Brown the meat in butter or margarine.Add the sliced onions and garlic and fry another 3 minutes.Add the beer slowly (the mixture must keep cooking).Add the herbs and the crumbled cake.Simmer, covered, for at least to 2 hours.Delicious with mashed potatoes.(I know: it sounds a very strange combination, meat, mustard, beer and cake. But trust me: it's really great!)
