Italian calf rolls with ham and cheese

Ingredients:

4 calf fillets

salt

pepper

4 slices air dried ham

4 slices Gruyère cheese

50 gr hover for conversion butter or margarine

2 dl hover for conversion white wine

0.5 dl hover for conversion water

1/2 cucumber

1 tablespoon cornstarch

 

Preparation:

Season each fillet with salt and pepper and place a slice ham and a slice cheese on the fillet. Wrap and tie (especially the ends) with a piece of cotton.
Melt the butter or margarine in a pan and brown the rolls.
Add wine and water and let the rolls simmer for about 20 minutes.
Cube the cucumber and add 5 minutes before the end of the cooking time.
Bind the fluid with cornstarch.
Delicious with mushrooms and noodles.
