Frisian brandied raisins

Ingredients:

250 gr hover for conversion white raisins

125 gr hover for conversion white candy sugar

1.5 dl hover for conversion water 

1 cinnamon stick

1 liter hover for conversion canning brandy

 

extra:

1 liter hover for conversion canning jar

 

Preparation:

Wash the raisins and drain well.
Bring the water with candy sugar and cinnamon stick to a boil.
Add the raisins and keep 5 minutes almost boiling.
Remove the raisins with a skimmer and put in a sterilised 1 liter hover for conversion canning jar.
Reduce the remaining fluid 3-5 minutes on a high heat. Let cool a little.
Pour the sugar syrup and brandy over the raisins and close the jar.
 
Wait at least 3 months before opening.
