Onion/cheese dish


Ingredients:

1 kg convert conversiononions

butter

salt, pepper

nutmeg

50 gr butter convert conversion

50 gr flour convert conversion

4 dl convert conversionmilk

100 gr Parmesan cheese

100 gr Gouda cheese

cream

How to prepare:

Fry the sliced onions, covered, in little butter translucent. Season at flavour with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Drain but keep the fluid.

Melt 50 gr convert conversionbutter over low heat and add the flour. Stir well and simmer a minute. Add the milk and bring the sauce, stirring, to a boil. Add onion fluid, grated Parmesan, little cream and half of the grated Goudse cheese to the sauce.

Put half of the cheese sauce in an oven dish, divide the onions over and cover with the rest of the cheese sauce. Sprinkle with the remaining grated Gouda cheese.

Colour under the grill or in a warm baking oven.

Variation: add a layer of 400 gr crumbly fried ground beef.
