How to prepare:Dice the bacon and fry, with little salt, over low heat.Peel and chop the onions. Add about 3 chopped onions to the bacon. Fry about 15 minutes. Put the rest of the chopped onions (raw) in a bowl.Take 3 small bowls. Fill with mustard, gherkins and cocktail onions.Warm the marrowfats, drain and mix in a bowl with the unsmoked streaky bacon/onion mixture.Serve with the chopped onion, mustard, gherkins and cocktail onions and please: don't forget the pancake syrup !
