Anise syrup


3-4 tablespoons star anise

1/2 cinnamon stick

peel of 1 lemon

1 liter water convert conversion

750 gr convert conversionjelly sugar


2 liter convert conversionpreserving jar

How to prepare:

Bring the water with jelly sugar to a boil and cook for 1 minute.

Pour the syrup in a well cleaned canning jar of 2 liter convert conversionand add star anise, cinnamon and lemon peel.

Close the jar and let rest for 10 days.

Sift the syrup, pour in cleaned bottles and close airtight.

A dash anise syrup in water with some cubes ice is a delicious "mocktail" (non alcoholic).

Preservable for 1 year.
