Anise syrup

Ingredients:

3-4 tablespoons star anise

1/2 cinnamon stick

peel of 1 lemon

1 liter hover for conversion water

750 gr hover for conversion jelly sugar

 

extra:

2 liter hover for conversion canning jar

2 bottles

 

Preparation:

Bring the water with jelly sugar to a boil and cook for 1 minute.
Pour the syrup in a well cleaned canning jar of 2 liter hover for conversion and add star anise, cinnamon and lemon peel.
Close the jar and let rest for 10 days.
Sift the syrup, pour in cleaned bottles and close airtight.
 
A dash anise syrup in water with some cubes ice is a delicious "mocktail" (non alcoholic).
1 year conservable.
