Preparation in advance:
Soften the butter and mix with 1 teaspoon bell pepper powder, 1 teaspoon garlic powder and salt. Place the lump butter in the fridge to firm.
How to prepare:
Remove plastic from the cavity of the chicken (if present).
Put the seasoned lump butter in the cavity. Put the chicken on the spit, check by turning around if the spit is in balance. Fix the chickenlegs and wings
and close the cavity by tying cotton around the legs and the rest of the chicken.
Season with chicken spices, paprika powder, garlic powder and salt
.
Place the spit in the oven and grill at 175°C/350°F.
Roast the chicken in 1-1.5 hour brown and cooked
(time depends on the weight: the chicken is ready when juices are clear when pierced). Remove the cotton.
Roasted chicken is delicious with french fries and applesauce (kids preferred dish !).
