Preparation:© Janneke's Recipe pages - recipe cannings lemonade, jelly, fruit, drinksMix strawberries and sugar in a medium pan with thick bottom and let rest 10 minutes.Add lemon juice and heat over low heat while stirring till the sugar is dissolved. Slowly bring to a boil, reduce the heat and let the jam reduce over low heat about 30-35 minutes.Remove the jelly from the heat and wait 2 minutes so bubbles can disappear.Pour the hot mixture in sterilised jars and close airtight. Let cool upside down.Keep the jars at a cold, dark place.Jam must be kept in the fridge after opening. |
