Strawberry jelly


Ingredients:

500 gr convert conversionstrawberries

400 gr convert conversionsugar

2 tablespoons lemon juice

How to prepare:

Mix strawberries and sugar in a medium pan with thick bottom and let rest 10 minutes.

Add lemon juice and heat over low heat while stirring till the sugar is dissolved. Slowly bring to a boil, reduce the heat and let the jam reduce over low heat about 30-35 minutes.

Remove the jelly from the heat and wait 2 minutes so bubbles can disappear.

Pour the hot mixture in sterilised jars and close airtight. Let cool upside down.

Keep the jars at a cold, dark place.

Jam must be kept in the fridge after opening.
