use for an apple pie:Soak the raisins about 2 hours in some rum or calvados for a delicious taste (the alcohol will disappear while baking).
Use for a pie:Also soaking in rum or calvados is delicious. Soak in warm water or some lemon juice overnight. To prevent the raisins to sink to the bottom of the pie: dry after soaking and flour with little flour. Fold into the dough carefully.
to keep:Keep raisins chilly, airtight and dark to prevent drying.
